Deactivated Sauer and Sohn of Suhl pistol with threaded barrel and sound moderator (silencer), chambered for 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP). This is the Behorden, or Behördenmodell, meaning the 'Authority Model' pistol. The Behorden was developed from the Sauer and Sohn Model 1930 and, unlike the Model 1930, incorporates a spring-loaded safety blade in the trigger and a cocked warning indicator at the rear of the slide. As the name suggests, it was produced for the German authorities - Staff Officers in the Army, the Police, Customers Officers, Post Office guards as well as paramilitary units. This example is in excellent condition and cocks, dry-fires and strips, and the moderator unscrews from the threaded barrel. This example also has the rare Krupp Nirosta barrel, with 'Nirosta' meaning Nichtrostender Stahl (non-rusting steel), which was developed by Krupp in Essen. This was developed to help prevent corrosion from the ammunition and external conditions faced by the pistols users. Supplied with its deactivation certificate. Conditions apply (see T & Cs).
