Deactivated Beretta Model 4 sub-machine gun, dated 1953. The Model 4 was a post-war development of the Beretta 38/44 and has an unusual location of the ejection port on the left, because of the non-reciprocating charging handle. This example has moving triggers, the charging handle moves under spring pressure, the magazine ejects and the cross-bolt safety catch moves. Supplied with its deactivation certificate from the Birmingham Proof House.
