Deactivated Australian L2A1 heavy-barrelled version of the classic L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle with the option for full-auto as well as semi-auto, manufactured by Lithgow. L2A1s were used by the Australians in the Vietnam war and the Australians exported these to a number of other countries. This example cocks, dry-fires, strips (apart from the barrel) and comes with a sling. The 30 round magazine is from an L4 7.62 Bren gun, which is basically an L2A1 magazine stamped for the L4 by the British, although it's an Australian L2A1 mag. The 'tactical trumpet' on the end of the barrel reduces recoil and acts as a flash hider. This L2A1 is stamped SPF64 indicating it was used by the Singapore Police Force. Supplied with its deactivation certificate. Conditions apply (see T & Cs). A nice example of an SLR variant rifle.
