Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 straight-pull rifle. These were exceptionally well made and accurate Swiss military rifles which avoided the hard wear and tear of combat use and so remained in very good condition. This example has matching numbers, retains its muzzle cap and the magazine cut off lever, which sometimes snaps, is intact and functions properly. The woodwork is in excellent condition and the action is nice and crisp. The brittle cocking handle is slightly chipped at the top and bottom but the rifle is overall in excellent nice, clean condition with a good action.
