Deactivated M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle, chambered for 30-06, and fed by an 8 round clip, manufactured in 1944 (dated by the serial number) by Winchester. A truly iconic piece of Second War history, the M1 Garand saw service not only with US forces in the Second World War but was also used in Korean and less so in Vietnam. It is still retained for ceremonial duties. This example is in excellent historical condition, has a moving charging handle and cocking rod under spring pressure (the bolt is welded), a moving trigger and is supplied with a high quality leather reproduction sling and a gun bag.
